What is the BDS Admission Process?
BDS has become a very popular graduation degree in India because there are several factors such as drastic growth of Dental science, excellent career opportunities, stable career & best profession, supported by the government/private sectors, reputed & best in class social status & many more things. In India, there are 323 colleges/institutes available for the BDS program. - After that, you need to prepare for the NEET-UG exam. To appear in the Entrance exam, just reach the NTA website and fill out the registration form for the NEET-UG entrance exam.
- Next, sit the entrance exam (NEET-UG), and now, join the counseling session.
- Apart from that, you must go to the counseling session where the seat will allot for your selected BDS college.
- After appearing the counselling, just go to the website of the BDS college and fill out the admission form.
- Under the admission form, you need to attach all the mandatory or required documents namely voter ID or Aadhar card, PAN card, domicile certificate, caste certificate, seat allotment letter, admit card, character certificate, counseling letter, score card, 10th class mark sheet, 12th class mark sheet or other. (Few documents will be required for the special cases)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Medical candidate must pass their schooling namely the 12th exam with a minimum of 50 percent and the subjects would be biology, physics, and chemistry. (Reserved category will get the relaxation and 40 percent will be required for the BDS program)
- Medical candidate needs to cover their age for the BDS program and the maximum age would be 25 years and BDS program admission will be 17 years. (Reserved category will get the relaxation and the maximum age should be 30 years)
BDS Fee Structure:
If any medical aspirant wants to enroll in a government BDS college then, the fee structure will start from Rs. 50,000 per year and if anyone wishes to get the BDS course from a private college then, the fees will start from Rs. 2 lakh per year. Apart from that, BDS student needs to pay the hostel fees, library costs, internship charges, laboratory charges, examination fees, and other charges.

First Year: Get the complete details about Anatomy & Dental Materials namely
- Neuro-anatomy: Study of the human nervous system, Dental science.
- Cardio-vascular: Deep information about the heart and blood vessels.

Second Year: Get Comprehensive details about Pathology & Oral history (Details about various kinds of diseases & injuries) and Dentistry Science:
